mate 10 pro picture in picture not working

I have the latest software installed but cannot get the pip to work. Tired it on Iplayer and Netflix. Any thoughts? Is there a setting stopping it from working? Thanks

It only works for Google Maps and YouTube (only if you're subscribed to YouTube Red) as far as I can tell.
I turned it off for Maps as it was a pain in the butt with the pop up getting in the way of me doing other things

Anyone looking to add PIP to YouTube without a YouTube Red subscription then I found a great app that let's you do just that from a OnePlus site. It's also a dark UI version too so it looks awesome and can also run in the background with the screen off for music playback. PIP is working perfectly on my Mate 10 Pro too.
