Mate 20 pro lens flare?

Hey.

Couple of days ago got mate20 pro. Love the phone. Took it out for some night photography and saw some kind of flare on the pictures. Is it normal? The first picture you can see 3 blue dots one bigger than the others. Second picture zoomed in you can see dots above the streetligihts. Is it normal?

Welcome to Android Central! I don't have the same phone to compare, but pretty much all lenses will have some degree of lens flare, so it's not surprising.

Yes, normal. It’s not really lens flare, it’s internal reflection inside the lens. Pretty much all cameras do it to some extent or other

Make sure your lens is absolute clean and has no smudges

if you watch any of the YouTube reviews of the Mate 20, lens flare seems to be an issue compared to other phones.
