I couldn't understand any interest in this phone as it seemed underspecced for the price but then I read the article about the phone being underrated on here and found it's a $500 dollar phone in the US rather than the $800 phone it is here. I was hoping when I read about the $100 discount in the states that we'd be getting a discount on the high price here but haha...nope.

I'm wanting to trade my brand new S8 for the Mate 9 right now. If I sell it I'm going for that Amazon deal on one. I must get this phone. I thought I wanted the S8 but now after coming from the honor 8 for a long while I really miss EMUI.

I thought that you had a used s8? As in one that has been opened and used. If you have a new one... One that hasn't been turned on, then it should fetch more. Regardless though it would be enough to buy a mate 9
I have a less than a month old regular S8. I love the phone but I miss EMUI. I used the honor 8 for so long. Plus I've been wanting a Mate 9 for a long while.

Ah ok. Based on your description, that would not meet the "new" criteria for eBay, Swappa, or Android Central.
Nevertheless, you should be able to sell your s8 for enough to buy a mate 9.
So far I've not gotten any bites. I would have thought I would have by now but none. I may be keeping the S8 and just saving up the cash to buy a honor 9 when released. My S8 I have listed has seen no action unfortunately.

Post it on swappa for $5-10 below the lowest most recently sold for same condition and accessories, and it should go in a day or two. If not drop it another$ $10-20 and it will sell. The longer you wait the more the price will drop, and you had mentioned that even $70 was very significant to you in the past, enough to sway your decision, so I would suggest that you think carefully or else you might be in bad shape financially. That would put you in a tight spot when buying an honor 9, which I don't want.
Thank you! Yeah I've got to work on flashing a new drive so I can fully unlock it first. I've got a buddy who is supposed to that for me as that's above my pay grade. He speaks a different language than I do lol. He spoke of flashing the new drive to the device which then would fully open up the Apn settings to accept another sim card. I can't sell it until that happens which I'm hoping will be tonight. Right now when I try to put another sim in it the apn settings go away even though sprint supposedly unlocked it and I've flashed everything sprint off the phone. Hopefully I can get it on swappa pretty quickly though. I appreciate your help.
