Maxx HD versus Moto X

I was at a Verizon store last night and the guy helping me said the Maxx HD has the same always listening, "Ok Google Now", feature and the same blink notifications as the Moto X. Is this true? What are the disadvantages of the Maxx HD over the Moto X? I don't care about being able to customize, and didn't they release within a month of each other? I have a DROID 4 right now and am really needing to upgrade. Thanks in advance!

Or am I really looking for the DROID Maxx, not a Razr Maxx? Way too confusing on all the name changes...

Got the Maxx! My question was read on the podcast yesterday! Jerry confirmed what I was thinking, this phone is basically the Moto X with a HUGE battery. I do wish the Motorola Skip (which comes pre-installed on the Maxx) would work...

I have the RAZR Maxx HD. I can get 3 days with 4g active the whole time. On 3g I get an easy 5-6 days. Currently in an area with 3g only and have been using it heavily, GPS,email,Netflix.......

I don't think I could ever use another device with a small battery. I usually only charge twice a week.
