Maxx no longer recognizes when it's plugged into computer

I used to get the notification to choose what mode my phone went into every time I plugged it into a computer USB. I no longer get that. I've been through all the setting menus and there is nothing in there that would change this or change the mode. My Maxx doesn't show up under My Computer any more either. How do I fix this?
