I'm looking into a Razr Maxx or iPhone 4S.. I'm in need of a few questions answered to see if this device can do what I need.

1. Is there a way or an app, that can allow me to use Microsoft Word, Excel, Power Point, so I can work on files and actually get some work done by using them on the device.

2. I have a wireless printer at my home, will I be able to print files, pictures, etc from my Razr Maxx to the printer?

Also, what is the most recent software update? Have you been getting updates at a respectable pace? Don't want to get a neglected phone.

Thanks guys.

#1--- many apps can do this. Even the stock app. But I use quick office pro myself. Got it free off of Amazon one day. Does what I need it to with Ms office

#2--yes.. once you did the motoprint setup.

#3-- currently on gingerbread 2.3.6. As for ICS 4.x, most all androids are still waiting from a stock update on that.

Best Microsoft alternative is Google docs. Also there are lot of free document viewer like quick office. As well as there are few paid office suite.

If you don't like them and you need "MS Office" you can use "OnLive" free version and run MS office.

To print anything on your android device you can use "Print share" android app. Also Google docs, cloud print beta, can do it.
Print share can print any file using bluetooth, WiFi, and Google cloud print service.

Print File on the android device free.

I've used Documents to Go, Quick Office, and Google Docs. All work well. I prefer Docs 2 Go.

Thanks gents. Seems like this phone can do it all.

Do people still have screen blotch issues?
