okay, i double checked this forum before i post this - to make sure i didn't miss a detail.

i installed froyo manually - through android central's update.zip link and so far i don't have problem with it - till i noticed one thing.

i remember with my stock dinc the bottom of facebook would say 'download app for htc incredible...' or something like that. with manually installed froyo, it now reads 'download app for nexus one...' had me baffled.

anyone can share a thought on this, or a possible fix? it's bothering me when facebook thinks i have nexus when i have incredible...

Facebook is confused??

Doesn't mean it has anything to do with your Dinc. Maybe they are assuming anything with 2.2 = N1 ???

when i rooted and flashed a new rom a while back i got a notification saying congratulations on purchasing your nexus one. haha.

I used to get the 'download app for your nexus one' on my Dinc when I had 2.1. I haven't checked since updating to froyo. Either way, not a big deal.
