Noob in distress here. Long story short -I got a friend to root my phone (wildfire s), he did and put cm7 on. I had to mess around to get sd card to work again, then google play to work, then to put on init2sd. After all that a couple soft buttons didn't work, and I thought I knew enough to install the ROM again. Somehow buggered that up (possibly because i didnt wipe either system or data, can't remember which) and the recovery I made wouldn't flash either. After trying to flash several different ROM versions (cm7 and cm9) I accidentally wiped the sd ( gotta love noobs).
Problem I'm having when I try to flash rom zip is it says error in 'file name' status 0 error flashing zip. All I can do is boot up into boot loader, and boot to recovery from there. When it boots into boot loader it checks the sd and tries to load zip sd something and says no image.
Is there anything I can do about this or am I screwed?
Any help would be very much appreciated.

Seems like either your zip file was renamed or corrupted if its initially detecting a zip in bootloader. Make another copy of the from you want to install make sure its named correctly and put it on your sd card. Delete your last zip file before putting the new one on so it doesn't try to read that one. Reboot into bootloader see if the update takes if not ensure that there are no other zip files on the SD card that could interfere is you still have a problem go back to where you downloaded the rom from and ask around there. It could be something specific to that rom also what is the zip file named for instance the evo design is PH44IMG. zip if there's anything before that like the name of the rom such as FactoryPH44IMG.zip then remove that. Hope that works for ya
