MDN Error - Exchange not Syncing

I tried using the My Verizon web page, and I get an error:

Your MDN could not be validated.
Please select the Account Info link
below to re-connect to My Verizon Handset

the link is Account Info, which just ends up giving me the same info.

At around the same time, noticed a blinking circle in the notification area to the left of the location symbol. A check found that this is the Exchange sync trying to sync which for some reason it is not able to do. As far as I can tell, the Exchange server OWA is up and not having any problems, but the phone can't seem to g there.

It is a bit annoying since it is constantly trying and even clicking on cancel sync doesn't really stop it from attempting.

Other things are working fine, I am able to sync the pop and imap accounts, web access works etc..

**edit** even turning on WiFi does not clear either up.
 
The Exchange sync has cleared up on it's own. Must have been something going on with the OWA server itself.

The MDN error persists. Wonder if it is just because they have that service down?? Never seen that before. I'd check the numbers on the regular web page, but my phone is in a company pool account and I don't have access to it to look at my phone's numbers. the My Verizon was showing me.
