My partner is currently having an issue with his Samsung Galaxy S4. The other night we were trying to unsync and remove auto-backup images from his phone due to Picasa. We found a small article stating how to remove these images by doing the following:
- Go to account settings (Settings > Accounts > Google > Click your email)
- Uncheck syncing for Google+ Photos
- Uncheck syncing for Picasa Photos
- Go to Application Manager and clear the data and cache of the Gallery app.
Doing so did clear and rid of the auto-backup stuff from Picasa but now we are having issues with his default contact on his phone.
Anytime his phone is restarted and connects to wifi, his contact is deleted and reverts back to the 'Setup Profile' button instead of showing his info. Coupled with this, it refuses to ever show his phone number now too. Instead it is just grayed out and blank.
Can anyone help remedy this issue? We want his contact to stop deleting itself and to have the phone number back.
