So I accidentally deleted my DCIM folder on my phone through Android File Transfer and it deleted all my photos. I understand that I probably can't get them back, but the thing is, now if I take a picture, I can't see it! When I go in photos it just says "Media not found."Pleaassseee somebody help me. (Google Nexus 5)

Welcome to Android Central! Have you tried creating a new DCIM folder? If all else fails, you could always do a factory data reset--I imagine that restoring to factory condition would bring back the DCIM folder.

The DCIM folder is already back there and the photo i take even shows up on android file transfer but I can't open it or look at it. I guess I could reset it I was just hoping there was an easier way :(

This is a longshot, but try resetting all app preferences by going to Settings>Apps, and tapping Menu.

A workaround might be to install a third party camera like Camera Zoom FX, which save photos to a different folder.

Android doesn't like you deleting and recreating folders. I would suggest a reset as well......
