what is it?? i go to the battery info on my phone and it is always in the top 2 for battery usage. i dont' have motocast set up because i don't really have a need for it so i know that isn't it.

i listen to slacker radio constantly at work would that be it too?? slacker radio also shows up on there so i just assumed it was something different.

If you stream video or audio "media".. then android must use it's media server system processes. Hence its on the top with slacker.

Pandora. YouTube. Netflix. Hulu. FM radio. XM radio etc etc etc etc etc will all use the same media server.

Anytime. Just Google those system processes and how android Linux works with apps and hardware. Kinda interesting reading. That's how I learned back in the day. Then again---I'm a nerd freak. Lol
