Media sound is very low although media volume is set to maximum

Hello,

I have Honor 8, suddenly the media sound is very low I can barely hear it either it is the sound of a Youtube video, music player, voice notes or any media sound. This happens although the media volume is set to maximum. When I restart my phone it is back to normal behavior. Any help why this happens and how could I solve it?

Welcome to Android Central! Is it also decreased when using wired or Bluetooth headphones?

Welcome to the forums! Have you checked out your speakers and headphone jack ports for any dirt? Do you have a case on your phone?

Yes, I have a case, and the port is clean. However, I guess it is not related as when I restart it without removing the case or cleaning the ports it works just fine.

I use my wired headphones and I didn't experience this while using them.
