Media sounds won't work, no matter what.

Hi. Before you start giving me these common troubleshoots, I'll have you know I've done them all.

This one time I was watching youtube, the sounds just shut out. After powercycling for tens of minutes, it wouldn't get fixed. Then I factory reset my phone and it still wouldn't work.

It must be software side since *#0*# (system test) plays tunes when I tell it to and alarms work just fine.

Audio via headphones works just fine too, it's just that the speaker won't work.
This is driving me insane, help please!

I don’t see how we can help since, as you say, you’ve tried the things that members would be likely to suggest. Bear in mind also that you haven’t told us the device nor anything about it.

Welcome to Android Central! It's not that helpful to say that you've done all the common troubleshoots, because we have no idea what you consider common, and so we won't know what else to suggest.

Have you already tried Safe Mode?
