Mediacom and headset plugged notification

Hi, I have bought a Mediacom 810C and I developed an App that use the broadcast receiver to intercept if the headset are plugged in or not. On this device Mediacom 810C that has Android version 2.3 doesn't work but it works on LG Optimus One with 2.2 android version. It's really strange that on an older version of OS it works and on a newer version doesn't work. So I think it's a device problem.

Can anyone tell me if has the same problem and if I can make a workaround to fix the problem?
