Mediapad M5 Lite 10"

I have recently purchased the 4Gb/64Gb version in the UK. I am pleased with the features and performance of the tablet but a bit surprised and disappointed that it is still on EMUI 8. Does anybody know if the Lite version is going to get an EMUI upgrade?

It doesn't look like it. It's spec'ed for 8, nothing further.
