MediaServer in Battery Usage.

Hi,

MediaServer is showing in my Battety usage at 24%

What would be running to use that ?

Anything that accesses media from your phone, like a local media music player. It also 'shoots up' if there's something wrong with your SD Card (corrupt files, damaged card, etc.) Try removing that and see if it goes down (if it does, it might be time to either check your files or replace the card).

On another forum some say it's Google Chrome.

In my Battery Stats the % is the same for Chrome and Media Server !

I have the same issue but only when I use Power Amp. It shows in my battery usage around 33%. I have videos and pictures in my SD CARD but mediaserver is fine. It's not draining my battery though. Should I be concerned?

I also have this issue. I noticed it's caused by playing music. Because of this, music playback is using a lot of battery IMO. Is it a bug?
