[MEGATHREAD] Auto installation of wqbd app

[Android Central Question]

wqpd version 3 gets installed automatically on my mobile. My mobile starts malfunctioning. Uninstalled but it got installed again.
Reset mobile but same problem. Please help me to solve the problem.

wqbd application is automatically getting installed on android mobile

An application by the name "wqbd" is getting installed automatically again and again even if it is uninstalled on my android mobile. Tried Factory reset but then again it is installed on the next day. Is it harful,if so how to remove it? Under application detail it says "installed from wqbd" and not from playstore.

I didn't see anything in play store with wqbd, is that the correct spelling?

wqbd app auto installed

An app wqbd version 3 is getting installed automatically again and again even after uninstalling it several times.
It's not from playstore, it's showing it is installed from wqbd itself.
Mine having Panasonic P99 phone.
Please advise.

10 days ago i notice auto istallation of an app named wqbd version 3.0 . in panasonic eluga a4 . after unistallation again it get auto istallation

I am also facing the wqbd issue in my Panasonic Eluga A3 - Android 7.0.
I have Done Following steps to solve but failed

• Factory Reset
• Safe Mode Boot and application Remove

I have Noticed Following Activities.

it is installed automatically when device is connected to internet.
It starts installing other gaming and other apps.
Starts spamming using WhatsApp. (My Mobile No is Banned by WhatsApp )

i am facing the same issue. Tried everything nothing is working. even denied all permisiions to the app, still it is spamming random people on whatsapp and making my phone malfunction. My phone is panasonic eluga i2 activ

Interesting. I'm still not finding any reference to "wqbd" in Google, but it sounds like it's limited to Panasonic phones. I would still try contacting Panasonic support, using the link I shared above.

Thats a pre-installed app

Since it has no permissions granted, I wonder if that app is really what's causing the WhatsApp spamming.
