How do I enable the sector 8 tablet draw over other screens or display over other screens

I need to figure out a way to get around to the lock or whatever is on the scepter 8 tablet that makes it to where you can't enable or disable the display or draw over other screens because I wanted to play those games where you can you know earn points or whatever and unfortunately that is one of the main permissions that you need to Grant to actually earn the points

And thank you for welcoming me to Android Central I'm very glad that I found this website and decided to give it a try because so far any other website that I've posted this question on there's been no replies and that was like 3 days ago and I did the other ones and then yesterday I decided to try some other ones and you're the only person that is been nice enough to actually reply and take time out of their day so thank you even if you're not able to help me figure this out I appreciate you taking the time out to try and if you do help me figure out a way to resolve this you're officially my hero LOL

I am having the same problem with my free government tablet it will not let me turn on door over app it keeps not allowing my app to go my game actually misplay it says also it's turned off because it slows down my tablet and there's no switch to turn it back on I don't know what to do

I don't know how to do this sorry but I am having the same problem did you get any help

Welcome to the forums. As discussed above, it sounds like this is a firmware level issue. In other words, the manufacturer has disabled certain features like this and there is no way to turn it on. While I understand the desire for these government issued devices, they are meant to be nothing more than a bare bones device to get people by with basic functionality. If you want a half decent tablet with full functionality, you're going to have to buy one.

Android Central Question

"Feature not available" when trying to allow "Display over other apps"

I bought a very cheap Cricket phone, the "Icon 2". The "adaptive brightness" on this phone is wholly inadequate. Even at the lowest setting the phone is very bright. I tried installing an app called "Twilight", but that app requires permission to draw over other apps. When I try to give it that permission I get this message: "Feature not available. This feature has been turned off because it slows down your phone." Does anyone know if there is a developer option that would allow me to turn on that feature? I looked but I could not find it.

Re: "Feature not available" when trying to allow "Display over other apps"

Sometimes those cheaper device dont have good specs like not enough storage ,ram, chip to let certain function work, probably best to find something with better specs .

Welcome to Android Central! That's an Android Go phone -- Android Go is the pared-down version of Android designed for cheaper and slower phones. I've seen mentioned elsewhere that Android Go doesn't support displaying over other apps. I don't think you'll find a workaround.

Android Central Question

Is android 11 blocked for display over aps even though postings say it is not?

I bought new tablets to run one specific ap, in command for RV using Global Connect. I am not seeing in the apps list the choice to turn on this feature for any aps. I also marked it allowed in the developer section but still not seeing choice in ap permissions.

Welcome to Android Central! Are these tablets running Android Go? If so, then I believe Android Go doesn't support Display Over Other Apps.

Android Central Question

Display over other apps (feature not available)

I got a truconnect stratus c5 and I can't turn on chat heads for Facebook messanger. When I go to settings it says feature unavailable this feature has been turned off because it slows down your phone. Is there any way to fix that

Re: Display over other apps (feature not available)

Welcome to Android Central! That's an Android Go phone, which is a stripped-down version of Android for underpowered budget phones. Android Go doesn't support displaying over other apps.
