My andriod is connected to project 442024615628. What is it?

Project 442024615628 thats all is says. But it has access to my profile and almost everything i do.

Its a brand new samsung phone i bought at walmart. And i found it in settings google connected apps.

That has more to do with your Google account than the phone itself. Go to your Google account management page at myaccount.google.com on your computer browser, click Security, then Manage Third Party Access. Click the Project listing there and see what information you get. My guess is it's the codename for some app or game you linked your Google account to in the past.

today, my wife was goingthru her phone and was shocked to find the following. at the end of one of her menus she found this : project/256308168499

is she in a beta test? how do I find out? she is on a Verizon galaxy note 10+ 128 gb, on att carrier. no 12 update.

Someone on Reddit said that it's linked to an app called appflame, formerly named appstation. Do you have an app by that name on your phone? Or possibly an app where you play to earn money

Good find! It seems caused by different apps, all of them used to earn cash or points by playing games.

And for the record, those apps are a scam lol. They just want you to watch ads for them. They start you out earning $10 here, $5 there to get you thinking it's going to add up quick to the required amount to withdrawal quickly. But as your earnings get closer to that amount you start earning less and less. You can grind for a month straight and you wouldnt make it I bet lol.

I really HATE HATE HATE ads for those apps that show up when I'm playing Asphalt 9. It's so obvious how they try to prey on unsuspecting and unsavvy users.
