Memory card doesn't show

I have tried a 16 GB card, an 8 GB card which have files on them from my Xperia Pro. I also tried the 8 GB card that came with my Ion and it doesn't show up either. I go to my computer and it only shows that main drive on my phone, doesn't show a memory card. I have it installed correctly, have rebooted several times and am not sure where to go from here.

Any advice would be appreciated.

Do you mean that the SD card doesn't show up when you hook to phone up to your computer, or that it doesn't even show up when you look for it on your phone?

If it isn't showing up on your phone, make sure the SD card is mounted. Go to Settings->Storage, and scroll down to see if there is an option to Mount SD card. For some phones, SD cards are automatically mounted when they're inserted, but other phones might require you to actually go to the Settings to select the mount option.

If it is showing up on your phone but not on your computer, make sure you select for the phone to be connected as a USB mass storage device. When you connect it via the USB cable, swipe down the notification bar on the phone, and tap the USB connection notification. Then see if it is connected as a mass storage device.

It doesn't show up on the phone or my computer. On my computer it only shows the main drive of the phone---no SD card.

I will try you suggestions.

Kind of weird. It still doesn't show up as part of the Ion LTE part of my computer only the device itself does. But it gives me a G drive which is the memory card that is in my phone.

I have never seen it that way before. The memory card usually shows up with the phone memory, showing the memory card also.
