Meridian Media Player problems

After reading many posts here about the Meridian Media Player I downloaded this music app. I must tell you that it crashes my Droid X 2.2 every time I use it. It will actually play a tune but after that 1st one it crashes the DX. I'm playing a flac music file but it is real pain in the !@$#!@$ to have it crash all the time. I'm only looking for a decent flac player and Meridian does not look like a simple solution. Anybody out there have any suggestions besides andless (this one crashes too but not as much)???
