Just to contribute to the "GPS getting worse" concept ...
Woke up this morning to the news that I've somehow been magically transported overnight to Merrick, NY, on Long Island. Now I have no problem with Long Island and am sure Merrick is a very lovely place.
But I'm not there.
That's about (just gonna guess here) at least 70 miles to the south of my current position in the northern burbs of NYC. Both Weatherbug and the HTC weather widget report me being in Merrick even AFTER the use of the GPS status app. So the standard fix didn't fix my fix. ;-)
Frustrating!
