I've received updated icons for phone, contacts and messages. Got messages first about a week and a half or two weeks ago.... Maybe because I'm on the beta.

As with anything Google, there could be some server side component thing as well where it rolls out gradually

I like it.. with the right wallpaper and material you theming in action I think it could look pretty sharp. It's a nice change from the years of the old style icon looks. I can't wait to play with the theme park in Good Lock on my Flip... I don't like all the conflicting apps. I want a more uniform look.

I have to admit the Samsung software and all the options are growing on me... love the edge panel and edge lighting, along with quite a few other things.

I guess you could say I'm starting to see the light lol. I just had to give it a chance

Yes. Updated a little more than a week ago. Waiting on the new features that are suppose to come with the new Update like being able to reply directly to a specific message.

Yeah, I have the new icon on my Galaxy Watch 5, but not on my Pixel. Messages on my Pixel does have the update that lets me "like" or choose other reactions to SMS and MMS.
