message not sent error

this morning I started getting a notification from messaging saying message not sent. I tap on it and it brings me to the list of messages all of which have been sent. I have deleted all the messages and enabled and disabled powered on and powered off the phone but it still keeps coming back every couple minutes. Any advice?

Have you asked your carrier about this issue?
