Message Settings

[Android Central Question]

Hey guys as I was looking through my message setting this morning, i noticed something unusual.

Under the notification settings there's catergories and in that catergories is my kids fathers contact.

I would like to remove this from here but I don't know how to and I don't know why it is there.

Is anyone able to help with this please?

Which phone ? Also Is he listed as a emergency contact ?

Welcome to Android Central! Do you see notification settings for other message threads there? At some point, did you turn off notifications for a message thread with this person in the messaging app? It may be that it's remembering a specific modification you made.
