Message widget: skipping all messages screen?

Hello, I've had this phone for a week now and can not seem to figure out how to use the message widget (which I love) the same way I did on the original Incredible.

I use to be able to see all of my incoming txt messages in the widget, click on a message, and then be taken directly into the conversations I've had with that person.

Currently on the I2 its giving me an extra step by requiring me to view the All Messages page where everyone I've exchanged txts with is listed with the number of sent/received. I then have to select the person I want to respond to a second time.

What am I missing in the settings or preferences to avoid this extra step?

Personalize > widgets > messages > there should be 2 widgets for you to select. Select the second one. This widget takes up an entire page but shows all of the message thread and the last message the person sent. I dunno if this is the widget you are talking about.

Yes, that is the widget I'm referring to. How do I bypass the all messages screen when tapping on a text from that widget? It's very cumbersome right having to do the same thing twice.
