Get message not sent, takes about 3-5x's for the message to go through. Any way to fix this got the phone about 2 weeks ago.

Welcome to Android Central! Since Messages+ is Verizon's own service, I'd start by talking to their support people.

Looking at the reviews on play store, seems to be a common problem with the latest update. Try rolling back to an earlier version by going into apps and uninstall updates (if available for that particular app) .

Remove it and use the stock messenger, or something like Textra.

Looks like I'll be sticking with Messages +. It really is a great app. A wee bit sluggish, but it is the best text app I have used.

I agree. Google should incorporate their own multi-platform message sync and build it into their stock messenger, once they decide which one to actually go with (ha).

I agree. However, they should put in some of the bells & whistles that Messages+ has. IE: I often use the feature where I can attach an image and draw on it before sending. It makes it easy to highlight and draw arrows on images. Creating a quick collage is pretty nice, too.

Yes! That would be great if Google can roll that into their stock messenger. LG has it built into their ui, my brother has a G2 and it's a very nice feature. Eliminates the use of a third party app and saves time.

Verizon's messaging app is one of the best.

One alternative would be stock Motorola app with Motorola Connect if you were only trying to text on a computer.

But I put Verizon's messaging app on my Nexus 7 and I can text right from there.

I actually use Messages+ AND the Motorola Connect for texting from my PC. They work great together.

The only drawback with Motorola Connect is that the phone needs to be on and have signal. With the Verizon Messages+ app, you're bypassing that.

I have been searching but to no avail. How do I send a group message? Without putting all names in one at a time?
