Messages+ Quick Reply Not Working

I am not seeing the option to enable the quick reply for messages from the Verizon Messages+ app anymore. The one where when the text message arrives it appears at the top of the screen and you can pull down and quick reply. Not the one in the big notification pull down.

I don't have Verizon, but try disabling the edge lighting function. This is what fixed it for me on Att using the stock messaging app.

Hm those were both turned on my s7 edge and it worked fine. Let me try.
