Seems like my stock SMS Messaging is not an option in the 'share' lists from a few apps, namely the Gallary or QuickPIC application.
For the life of my, I cannot attach a photo to a SMS message.

If I open the SMS app, THEN try to attach something, it opens up the gallary, but then crashes Sense and the SMS app.

You can't share a mms. There is an app crashing the messaging service gotta figure that one out. Check recent installs

That's strange. The stock messaging app is a Share option on pretty much any app. Just checked in my Gallery and it's there too. Sent a picture to my work phone no problem. Use it all the time. What carrier are you on?

[SOLVED]
This was happening to me and it was driving me crazy. The "Messages" option was available in the Share menu since I got my phone then one day it just disappeared. I looked for solutions and couldn't find the answer. So I started to try different things and this is what worked for me. Go to Settings --> Apps and view all apps by swiping to the right. Go to the Gallery app and clear the cache, defaults and application data (It won't delete your photos) and voila, the ability to share to Messages is back. Hope it helps everyone.
