messaging setting in galaxy s3

I'm not sure how to phrase this one. I get alerts sent to my phone. By accident, I hit a feature saying never to allow a reply to such alerts (ex: notification of a package, bank message, deals of the day). It doesn't appear to be in settings, but whatever I did affected the global Messaging settings. Is there a way to change it back?
