I just got my new pantech burst and the icon for a new message in there but I've deleted all my messages and it won't go away. In my messages used space it says I have a multimedia message but l my messages have been deleted. I've take my battery out my sim card and my memory card but the symbol for the new message that I don't have just won't go away. Anybody know how to fix this?

If it's not too late, go to setting and do a factory reset, that will wipe out everything and make your phone like the first day you bought it. Be sure to backup important stuff to your external SD Card before the reset.

couldnt she just go to settings>apps>all and find the messenger app, force stop it, clear data and cache, reboot phone, and make it go away that way? Thats how I take care of misbehaving apps anyway

Man, people in this forum must have gave up on Pantech burst. I'm going back to xda.
