I tried doing this with my two Live accounts. I didn't tick Archive incoming messages though, so all my 300+ emails from one of my older Live accounts got dropped in my Gmail inbox. Whoops?
Trying to undo this, I ticked the Archive button afterwards, but it didn't remove the already collected emails. Then I went to the labels and deleted the labels from all the emails, thinking this would delete the actual emails as well. Nope, they're still in the inbox, now without labels.
Basically, I'm wondering if there's any way to remove all emails coming from a certain account? Both my Live accounts are still listed in the menu in Gmail, even though I removed them from Accounts and import on the gmail site. There must be some way of removing the link completely and thus erasing all mail related to those accounts?
EDIT: Nevermind, just went through it all and deleted all non-gmail entries manually.
