Let me tell ya, I'm very glad I'm rocking the TBOLT instead. The only thing I liked about it was that it was light weight and the screen looked a little sharper.

The thing felt cheap, it was laggy, it froze up on me, etc. Makes me realize how good I have it!

Exactly! Funny, "laggy" is usually the singlemost major complaint of all smartphones. I am so happy with my TBolt and the fact that it is not laggy! Can I have an Amen! :) How soon we forget the major things.

I've been messing around with the Nexus S 4G for the past few days and it's the same way. Samsung has a history of laggy devices. Even on my Galaxy Tab, I had to install a lag fix just to get it running decently. Between Samsung, Motorola and HTC... I now love HTC devices the best.

But when you say laggy you should think about where you played with it? Was it in a store cuz almost all phones that I have played with in a store are laggy. Like the tBolt before I got it I sent into a vzw store and played with it and it was extremely laggy. So it is an entirely different experience.

sent for my fantastic thunderbolt.

For me.. I own both devices. There are lag fix apps specifically made for Samsung devices but they must be rooted.

Display models are the worst. When I went in to verizon to decide what phone to get when I picked up the bolt it was horribly laggy, but I remembered that in store models blow so grabbed it regardless of not being impressed by the device on display. When I got to the car realized I made a really good decision lol. Now with the gb leaked rom I love this phone even more.

haha yea i did my research with the phone so i knew it's what i wanted i just wanted to go to the store and actually hold it in my hand haha

I have been thinking about rooting and then I kinda talk myself out of it. I know the awesome possibilities that it can bring because I rooted my OG Droid but I don't know haha

I have a tbolt which is a great device. Sometimes I do find it a bit laggy. Particularly in the sms and contact apps. Running completely stock btw.

It was NOT a display model. Just the unrooted phone a buddy of mine owns. Thing was pretty janky to be honest with you guys.

JM013 install the app "GoSMS." It is a much better way to message and way less laggy then the stock app. It isn't anything like a root, just an app. If you don't like it, simply uninstall it.
