Noticed this morning that the thinn sliver of aluminum between the power input and the glass is bent. The Prime wasn't dropped or have any other signs of physical damage.

I can only assume it bent when trying to insert the power cord in a room with low-lighting conditions. Of course, as gentle as I am with it, I have never tried to force the plug. Still, it's a bit disconcerting that such a high-end device could be damaged so easily just plugging it in.

I haven't messed with it yet, but later I will snap some pics and try to bend the aluminum back into place.

Anyone else notice something similar on their Prime?

Yes. I am guessing it was due to using it while plugged in and somehow getting twisted. Mine is not bent severely but still, a bit disconcerting.

Mine is in bad shape, one of my chargers and the dock wont connect anymore. The design on the power slot is horrible. I'm going to probably look at getting it replaced, otherwise my dock is useless. I still have one charger that works, otherwise I'd be screwed. I'm having issues with the individual brass connectors, there are about 10-12 that are bent, pushed back, etc.
