MetroPCS LG Optimus M

Ok. I am looking to maybe switch to either Metro for the money savings. I am deciding between the LG Optimus M and the Huwai Acent. Even though the Accent is $150 less I am thinking that the LG as Android 2.2, which apparently makes a huge difference in performance. Other than those two difference, what really sets these phones apart from each other? The accent has a bigger screen I know. Opinions?

I absolutely love my Optimus m for Metro. I live in a big market, so I don't have to worry about a bad reception, so Metro was a easy choice. What I love about this phone is I can run Pandora Radio and other apps that use a lot of data, but its all unlimited. If you live in a area where you can't have great coverage, I wouldn't prefer Metro. But if you can, this phone is a lot of fun.

Hello, I live in the St. Petesburg, FL area and have had the Optimus M for about 3 months. It has always said my "service speed" was 1x. About 10 days ago, in its place, my phone now says 3G. I called MetroPCS and the gal seemed confused. Any idea if I'm getting 3G or if it is an error? Thanks.

Thats interesting, I am in Pompano Beach, Broward county and all I get is 1x, wish it was 3x but even 2.5 would be ok, phone is great, works well on WiFi, wish we had native 3g as advertised, this is nonsense.

I've had my LG Optimus M for about a year now and I like the phone. I am having an issue that I'm hoping someone will be able to help me with. I bought a 32GB micro SD card for my phone and was initially excited about all of the music and stuff that I could put on it. Well I copied a lot of music onto it, but I can't play all of the music. As a matter of fact, it seems that most of the music that I copy onto it now, won't play. When I take pictures or record videos, they'll initially be there, but say.....tomorrow...if I look for the file, the phone won't be able to show the phone or video. When I install an app onto the sd card or move an app to it, it seems that sooner or later, the app will disappear! It's crazy because I'll look on my phone and I'll see an android icon where the app used to be and if I press it, it'll say, "This application is not installed".

I've tried to format it with the phone, but...I don't know.

Any help or advice???

Use a better music app I use es file manager and have had no problems
