I can't find anyone's review that says whether or not it has tv out. The G3 and G4 have it, does the V10?

V10 does have this feature. Worked for me with an HDMI cable and a MHL/HDMI adapter from Cable Matters.

Correct.. in full 1080p resolution (4K may be possible, I know that there are MHL cables that support it, not sure if the V10 can ouput in 4K though). LG phones are some of the few that still support this feature via the USB output. This is a very important feature to me and is probably the biggest reason why I have stuck with LG phones after owning many others. I recently bought a JVC head unit for my car that mirrors the screen of the phone via MHL and lets you control the entire phone with the use of the touchscreen. It's an awesome feature that I find myself using all the time, and doing presentations for work via MHL is something very convenient as well.

Manufacturers expect you to have a Chromecast and WiFi connection to mirror screens nowadays, which is why fewer and fewer phones have MHL capability. MHL is much much better, unless of course you're very far away from your TV where a cable spanning across the room becomes impractical.

I hope V20 has MHL!

I am pretty sure it is slimport not MHL, my lg g3 g4 and now v10 all used the usb slimport adapter and mhl did not work on the g3 g4, I assumed i did not work on v10, slimport can connect without power, and I am pretty sure you need power connected to the micro usb wire for it to work on mhl.

When you watch Netflix on V10 does it use the "top screen" portion of the display or is that space wasted?

So does slimport support wired hdmi connection to tv? Has anybody done it successfully?

with slimport the cable plugs into the usb connection on your phone and is hdmi on the other end with an optional charging micro usb end to connect for power and mirrors everything on your screen to the tv instantly with no lag, its a cable so no its not wireless, cable matters sells one on amazon.

Cable Matters Micro USB SlimPort (MyDP) to HDMI 6 Foot Cable with 6 Foot USB Charging Cable $16.99 each

yes, i have used it for almost three years now, it works on my lg g pad, lg g3, lg g4, and now V10. I wish there was a way to turn off the phone screen while sending the video to the tv. I heard there was some app.
