My mom has a rezound, and I was wondering how mhl worked? Does it charge the phone well? Have you noticed any problems with it? I have this mhl adapter, and hope it will charge the phone decently. Thanks.

mhl is finicky, based on my 4 Rezound. sometimes works ok, others not so much. it charges at 500ma, which may not give a positive charge, but would reduce the drain. others worked ok, but a number of others had issues.

my mhl cable appears to be shot (it looks like it is charging, but, it isn't). I use a micro usb cable, which works better.
