Hi! I’m considering upgrading from an S7 Edge to the Mi 9 SE but have a few concerns. Any help from people with this phone would be great!
First of all, the camera setup seems great on paper. 48MP main sensor, ultra wide AND 2x telephoto. But will the lack of OIS affect photo quality (especially low light) a lot? The Mi 9 has the same main camera but still got 107 points on DxOmark, although a lot of reviews said that its lack of OIS along with poor PDAF made it worse at low light than the Mi 8 which had OIS and dual pixel AF.
The Mi 9 SE has a 3070mAh battery and a 5.9 inch FHD AMOLED screen. How long do you think the battery will last? Will it be better or worse than my S7 Edge? Because on paper it doesn’t seem great.
Finally, will the SD 712 be a noticeable upgrade from the Exynos 8890? On paper it is more efficient (lower clock speed though) and is 800-900 points better on Geekbench. Will that translate to a faster experience when paired with 6GB RAM?
Sorry for the many questions!
