I got a Mi Band 7 last month to use with Zepp Life. I had a Mi Band 5 before that didn't have this issue.
Every time I've been far enough away from my phone for the band to disconnect from the bluetooth, I have to turn bluetooth off and on to get it to reconnect. It also sometimes doesn't fully connect so I can't change settings on the band via the app without forcestopping the app and then opening it again.
I talked to the store I bought it from and they replaced it with a new one thinking the band was faulty - but it still happens with the new one.
Things I've tried:
Restart phone (several times)
Factory reset watch (several times)
Un- and reinstall Zepp Life and Mi Band Tools
Uninstall Zepp Life and reinstall an older version of the app
Uninstall both apps, manually remove ALL Xiaomi files from the phone, then reinstall both apps
Switchted to My Fitness
Connect the watch to the phone directly through Bluetooth
Band is up to date with version 2.1.0.1
The app is up to date with version 6.12.0
My phone is an Xperia 5 III running Android 13 up to date
I don't know what else to do. I can't find anything online about anyone having this issue. Does anyone in here have any ideas before I go out and buy another watch?
