Welcome to the forums. You are not alone, their Play Store page is full of users reporting the same problem. The app hasn't been updated since April 2016,.

Even if the developer were still maintaining the app (and after 3 years, that's doubtful), after a new version of Android comes out, many apps have to be updated to run on the new version, then you have to update the app (in Play). (Which is why I opted out of the Q Beta - too many apps that I need every day don't run on it yet.)
