mic not working on s6 edge

[AC Question]

hi when receiving a call the caller cant hear me and ive tried to record a voice memo is the mic on the charging board or could it be a software problem cheers

Welcome to Android Central! Are you saying the voice recorder also didn't record anything? When you're on a call, can the other person hear you if you turn on speakerphone, or use a wired or Bluetooth headset?
