Mic problems on LG G2

Like the title says, I'm having problems with my LG G2's mic. If I make calls you can't hear me unless I put it on speaker phone. On video apps (Instagram, Vine) you can't hear me, but if I use my default camera app to make videos, you can. None of this had happened until I had updated to KitKat. I'm thinking about factory resetting, but I don't want to lose my info on my phone/ to scared by titanium backup. Does anyone else have any suggestions? (Neither Sprint, nor LG have been helpful)
