Mic sensitivity when recording videos (Sony)

I have a new Sony Xperia 5 III, replacing a 5 year old Sony XZs. I like taking videos of rock bands, and one thing I liked about the old phone was the Mic Sensitivity option (low/medium/high) in the Accessories menu... using "low" made sure loud sounds didn't distort. This may have been a Sony feature overlaying stock Android, but I can't find it anywhere on my new Xperia 5. Surely on a media focused phone it's a fairly basic thing? There is simple audio adjustment in the Cinema Pro app, but I don't always want to use the super-wide 21:9 format it employs. Any ideas please?
