Will it make a huge difference either way?

If its only music and photos, which would be best?

For recording HD video, its recommended to get the higher class card. But nowadays there isn't that large a difference in price between Class 6/10 so I would just get the class 10 card.

That will definitely do the trick. The one I ordered was the 64GB variant of the same brand.

I am transferring my 64GB micro sdxc Class 10 card by Sandisk that I got on Amazon for my GS3 last June.

I would have to agree and will be doing just that for my new S4

I don't think any card is preferred over the other.

It's all about value/performance.

I have SanDisk products, but bought the 32GB Samsung micro SD card for my S4.

I'd gotten the 32GB Class 6 Samsung Micro SD card for my note 2. I'm pretty happy with it.

I got the class 10 when it was on sale during the holidays, typically its $50-60 for a 64GB SanDisk Class 10 on Amazon.

Newbie question here... what is the difference between the sd class 6 and 10. Never heard about them, just thought that the only difference was the storage capacity.
