Microphone Nexus 5 help...?

Guys help me out, i bought nexus 5 a few days back, well whenever someone calls me or i call someone, i can heae his voice crystal clear but the other person doesnt get my voice clear. I thought it was a microphone issue , so i installed a voice recording app to check the microphone error, but no the recording was crystal clear even when i ws whispering in the microphone from bit distance....so microphone is working perfectly.... Whats the issue guys, something wrong with OS?? Any solution??

A voice recorder app might be using the secondary microphone, so it doesn't necessarily reflect the performance of the primary phone mic. Do people hear you clearly if you're on speakerphone (which also uses the secondary mic), or wired/Bluetooth headset?

yes it works absolutely fine with wired/bluetooth headset...

It really sounds like an issue with the primary phone mic. Does either phone have a case that blocks the mic? Is there any debris stuck in the grille overlying the mic?
