Microphone problem!!

I know it probably has nothing to do with it but I downloaded the most recent update security patch whatever you want to call it and now I'm having problems with my microphone sometimes people say they can't hear me I had to hang up and call right back never happened before could be a coincidence anybody else experiencing this problem.
