Microphone/Speaker disfuction while calls

When I call on my Android other person can't hear my voice but I can hear them. The other person could hear me olny if I have a headset w/ speakers or they could barely hear me on speaker phone. Wassup with this?

The primary phone mic at the bottom of the phone is either faulty or its opening is blocked.
