MicroSD that claims not to have space

For some reason, my microSD card suddenly is telling me it's full when I just reformatted it, I can't copy anything to it without Windows telling me I need to format the card again. Just very strange behaviour, and even some apps tell me I need more room on the card in order to run the app. It's an empty 32GB. Any ideas?

Reformat it. Make sure you format it as FAT32.

Yeah, did that. Windows sees the full 32GB (29 formatted) and then as soon as it goes in the phone, Android wants to format it because it says it's a "damaged card" and leaves me with 16MB.
