MicroSDHC Compatibility for the Xoom

Now that the update is out, has anyone starting noticing any issues with particular brands/classes of MicroSDHC? It looks like from reading some reviews that certain devices have trouble with certain cards, so I figured I would just check to see what people are using successfully.

Help! I installed a 16gb MicroSD, class 4, but it wont "mount"? Is there something I have to do first? I can't see it when I hook it up to a PC either.

Sounds like you might have got a dud, is the card new? Has it ever worked?

Wow...thought I was the only one...

Loaded two different cards using the PC...neither one will 'mount' and can't be seen when I hook up to my PC.

What brand/class are they? I have noticed from reviews on amazon that there are problems with certain cards and the Droid X which made me think other Motor products might be affected.

I have cards that were recommended here...Sandisk and PNY...

From what i've read so far, you can only install/remove the sd card with the xoom OFF. Doing either with the xoom switched ON will probably damage the sd card.

I got my Adata 32 gb class 10 card today. I made sure to install it while off and so far no problems.

I have to reboot my Xoom before it would recognize the new SD card.

I found that a simple unmount/mount works for me. I unmounted my card, put a few movies on and put it back in with out turning the divice off and it recognized it no problem.
